Welcome to the
website of the Latin Mass Community North. In accordance with Pope Benedict XVI's
Motu Proprio,
“Summorum Pontificum,”
our purpose is to encourage the celebration of the Traditional
Latin Mass in the area north of Boston, Massachusetts and to inform those who wish to experience this “Extraordinary
Form” of the places and times where
it is celebrated.
We are firmly committed to the Roman Catholic Church
and the authority of the Pope and the bishops united with the Supreme Pontiff
of the Church.
We are
in the process of arranging Masses in the North Shore and the
Merrimack Valley and we ask that
you visit this website periodically to keep informed.
A Solemn High Traditional Latin Mass was offered on the feast of
Sts. Peter and Paul, Sunday, June 29, at 2 p.m at St. Adelaide's Church in
Peabody, MA. A monthly Mass will continue to be
offered the last Sunday of the month. Please
check "Mass Schedules" for details.
The next scheduled Mass will be July 27.
